Negotiations were held in the office
of regional labour commissioner (central) with departmental officers from 2:30
P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Com. S.S.Mahadevaiah General Secretary, Com. B.V.Rao Asst.
General Secretary, Com. Lakhwinder Pal Singh Vice President participated in the
negotioations. During the negotiations the officers told that member (P) Col.
Kamalesh Chandra wrote a letter to Ms. Mamta Kundra, Joint secretary
(Establishment) Department of personnel and Treining seeking clarification
about the definition of central government employees.
“ If this term is duly defined
based on which a final view over the inclusion of Gramin Dak Sevaks within the
purview of 7th CPC becomes possible” he said.
We are not satisfied with this
reply and decides to go on indefinite strike. Comrades our demands are just and
important. Organize and mobilize. Don’t believe any rumors. We are fighting for
major cause.
