Congratulations
to all our Branch, Divisional circle secretaries and GDS fraternity for
making two days hunger fast programme grand success in thefirst week of
June given by CHQ in three phase agitational programme for the cause of
GDS justified demands.
All India
Postal Extra Departmental employees union (AIPEDEU) is a class oriented
militant organization representing about two lakh Sixty Two Thousand GDS
employees. October 2012 indefinite strike is a GDS revolt
Against
Attrocities. After the indefinite strike only the department of posts
and the Govt. of India expedite the Rastriya Swastya Bheema Yojana
(Medical Scheme) and is going to be implemented very soon. No doubt it
is an achievement of AIPEDEU. Two lakh sixty two thousand GDS employees
are going to be benefitted under this scheme.
As you are
aware our demand pertaining to enhancement of bonus ceiling to Rs.
3500/- is justified demand. Unfortunately Finance Ministry returned the
file with adverse remarks.
We
thoroughly discussed the situation arising after historical indefinite
strike and the pressing problems of GDS employees remaining unsolved in
the C.W.C. held at Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh.
We
have chosen the path of struggle to achieve the four charter of demands
resolved in the C.W.C. We have successfully completed first phase of
programme throughout the country.
The
most important demand regularization of GDS employees is before us. It
is our main task to achieve this demand. Comrades, we have been taught
to fight for the cause of workers in general and GDS in particular. Let
us rededicated ourselves for the cause and continue our struggles for
the good of GDS in whatever adverse situation that we may face.
