AIGDSU divisional conference of Beharaich Division was held at Beharaich Head Post office on 07-02-2016 under the presidentship Com. R.S. Patak, Com. S.S. Mahadevaiah, General Secretary, Com. C.B. Tiwari, Asst. General Secretary and Circle Secretary U.P. Circle, Com. Pradeep Singh, Asst. Circle Secretary U.P. Circle, N.D. Tiwari, Circle Treasurer U.P. Circle, Com. Muralidhar Mishra, Divisional Secretary, Gonda Division, Com. Yogendra Kumar, Divisional Secretary Barabanki Division, Com. Shivram Sahu, Divisional Secretary Lucknow, Com. Seetaka Prasad Ojha, Com. R.A. Mishra, Raibareli, Com. Shivamurthy Singh, Gonda and other local leaders attended and addressed.

More than three hundred GDS employees attended.

Sports submit in Puttur Dn. Karnatak Circle was held on 31 January 2016 at near Karkala

AIGDSU Postal Sports meet of Puttur Division, Karnataka Circle was held on 31^st January 2016 at Bajagoli near Karkala Taluk Cricket, wallyball, throw ball, shotput and athletics were conducted.

          More than hundred GDS women employees participated in the sports. Com. S.S. Mahadevaiah, General Secretary inaugurated the sports event. Open session was held before the commencement of games. Shri T.G. Naik, SSP, Puttur Division lit the light and inaugurated the open session. Com. Vital Pujari, President, Puttur Division. Com. Pramod Bannarja, Working President, AIGDSU Karnataka Circle, Com. Rudresh, Asst. Circle Secretary, Karnataka, Com. Vijay Nairy, Ex-Circle President, Com. Sunil Devadiga, Divisional Secretary, Com. Shakira, Treasurer and junior college principal and local leaders attended and address the gathering Local administration extended their complete Co-operation to the sports meet. Winners of the sports events were presented Medals and cups. Excellent arrangements were made by the divisional union. CHQ congratulates and suggest all Divisional Braches to try to conduct such sports meet to develop sprit among GDS. This is the first time as GDS union conducted the sports meet in the postal Department.

Seminar and felicitation was held at Karnataka Vidhan Soudha, Bangalore on 29 January and 4 February, 2016

Akhila Karnataka State Government employees Federation conducted seminar on 4^th February 2016 at Vidhan Soudha Publice meeting. The Seminar was held under the presidentship of Com. Mahadev Mat Pathi, President, Karnataka State Govt. employees Federation and Secretariat employees Federation and Secretariat employees Federation.

In this occasion Com. Muttusunderam, All India State Govt. employees Federation, General Secretary, Com. S.S. Mahadevaiah, General Secretary, AIGDSU, Com. Sachidenanda Murthy, Com. Shiva Sankar, Secretary, Com. S. Renuka Aradya, a Founder leader of Federation and president of State Govt. Physically challenged employees union president, attended and addressed the Seminar. All speakers discussed the merits and demerits of the pay commission and emphasized the need of the struggles for the betterment.

Secretaries employees donated fifty thousand rupees for Chennai flood relief fund.

All leader and employees Felicitated Com. S. Renuka Aradya on his retirement and a book on S. Renuka Aradhya and struggles conducted under his leadership successfully was released. The title of the book is “Renuka Aradya struggles and success”.

All new elected office bearers of State Govt. employees through elections were also felicitated.

AIGDSU Divisional Conference of Palamu Division was held on 24-01-2016 at Daltan Ganj Head Post office under the presidentship of Com. Tripati. The Conference was inaugurated by Com. S.S. Mahadevaiah, General Secretary. Com. Rajendra Prasad Singh, Working President (CHQ) and Circle Secretary Bihar Circle, Com. Ajay Singh, CHQ Org. Secretary and Divisional Secretary Palamu Division, Com. Rameshwar Gop, Circle Secretary, Jharkhand Circle, Com. Madan Mohan Singh, Circle president, Jharkhand Circle, Com. Balram Pandey, Treasurer Bihar Circle, Com. Madhura Singh, Divisional Secretary, Aurangabad. The SSP Palamu Division and local leaders attended and addressed the meeting.

More than 350 GDS comrades attended the conference. The divisional body was elected unanimously.
