We met Secretary posts and other officers
We met Secretary posts and
other officers at the first time after withdrawl of the indefinite strike and requested to expedite
the process to issue necessary orders regarding pay and allowances etc.
Secretary assured to issue orders in the next week.
The officers in the
directorate said that the Chief Post Master General is the competent to grant
compensation for clearance of last 16 days work. All Circle Secretaries are
requested to approach Chief Post Master General to settle the issue.

Dhar, Secretary AITUC, former Secretary General Central Secretariat emloyees
and popular veteran trade union leader is no more. He conducted historical
struggles in Delhi for the cause of working class. Workers called him “Lion
of the Delhi” with love. AIGDSU never forget his valuable advices and support
and solidarity during indefinite strikes. Com. G.L. Dhar is very affectionate
to Com. S.S. Mahadevaiah and appreciated his fighting nature.
AIGDSU expressed
deep condolence to the family members of Com. G.L. Dhar with deep grief. We
dip our banner to the honour of departed leader. May his soul rest in peace.
He is 92 years old.
