Dear Comrades, We are furnishing here under some recent developments concerning the postal employees in general and GDS employees in particular.

Meeting with Minister of State for Communications & IT on 06.03.2013

General Secretary Com. S.S. Mahadevaiah and Asst. General Secretary Com. B.V. Rao met Hon’ble Minister of State for Communications & IT on 06.03.2013  in Minister Chamber at Dak Bhavan. The Minister assured our leaders to look into the bonus issue and try her level best for early settlement. She also assured to take necessary action for filling up 26000 GDS vacant posts remain unfilled. The Medical scheme will be implemented for GDS soon.

MEETING WITH FINANCE MINISTER

General Secretary Com. S.S. Mahadevaiah met Hon’ble Finance Minister and requested for settlement of bonus issue to GDS. Minister assured to settle the matter positively.

GRAVE INJUSTICE TO SENIOR GDS BY SECRETARY GENERAL NFPE

While discussing about Postmen/Mail guard promotion to senior GDS officials on 8.03.2013, one of the officers in the directorate said that so called NFPE Secretary General agreed to curtail promotion to GDS official on seniority cum fitness basis when the discussions were held on Revised Recruitment rules. Hence the Department is not ready to reopen the issue. What a grave injustice to senior GDS by Secretary General NFPE! Such NFPE so called Secretary General is shedding crocodile tears on GDS officials. What a misery! We are trying to our level best to pursue this issue.

C.W.C. of our union is going to be held at Prashanthi Nilayem, Puttaparthi, Anantapur Distt. Andhra Pradesh from 21.04.2013 to 22.04.2013. Puttaparthi is the border village of Karnataka State and the nearest place to our General Secretary’ s native village. All the C.W.C. members are invited to visit the General Secretary’s native village on 23.04.2013. Hence make your return journey from Bangalore on 23.04.2013 evening

After the historical Indefinite Strike of AIPEDEU from 16-10-2012 to 22-10-2012. Com. Krishnan & Co Started to inject dangerous poison in to the veins of GDS which made in the NFPE factory with falsehood and lies. Let us Analise.

The GDS Strike of Mahadevaiah group ended on 22-10-2012. In fact it was fizzled out. Even though from 16-10-2012 on wards the leaders claimed 100% participation in all circles, the truth was entirely different, out of 22 Circles in 10 Circles it was less than 5% of the Gramin Dak Sevaks went on strike. In the remaining. Six Circles it varied from 12% to 27% of the GDS. All India average of the strike is 18.1% of the total GDS. This is the real picture of the strike. All other claims are false and naked lies. The percentage came down day-by-day and on 22^nd the All India average was only 5% of the total of about three lakhs GDS. Thus the strike fizzled out without any settlement. (those who have doubt about the figures can get it under RTI from all Circles and verify truth.

We know that Com. Krishnan & Co breath lies with oxygen to survive. Otherwise they cannot live as the thrown away fish from water to land. To reveal the facts and reality to all the postal fraternity As per the information supplied by the Department of Posts under RTI Act, All India average on 22^nd was 39.5% but not less than 5% as stated by Krishnan & Co. Figures are before you. You decide who are liers? Who are substandard leaders? Who fall into gutters? Who lost the faith of GDS employees?
Is it not true that Com. Krishnan & Co defame the name of mighty NFPE with their low standard activities? Think?

FACTS & REALITIES ON 12-12-2012 ONE DAY STRIKE

Com. K.V. Sridharan, Editor Bharatiya Post and R.Sivanarayana, Gen. Secretary P-3 published the 12-12-2012 Strike percentage on the cover page of January, 2013 Bhartiya Post. They published like this “Hundred percentage strike in majority circles; Average 70% to 80% strike in all Circle”.

Uttar Pradesh out of 263 employees, only 07 employees participated in the strike (RTI Letter No. CR/RTI/28/006/145/12-13 dated at Mathura the 12 February, 2013 copy enclosed) The strike percentage is 2.67%.

3)      In Gujarat Circle out of 25,966 employees 1575 participated in the strike. The percentage is 6.07% (No Union/one day strike/Dec-2012 dated at Ahmadabad 38001 the 11.01.2013; copy enclosed)

4)      The percentage of strike is nil in Sangareddy Division and Parvathipuram Division in Andhra Pradesh. The percentage is only 14.6% in Gudiwada Division. 5)      P-3 U.P. Circle Secretary Subhash Mishra’s prestigious Kanpur City Division, only 4 employees took part in Strike (union/RTI-309/2012 dtd at Kanpur the 14-2-2013), copy enclosed.

6)      Out of 409 working strength, only 74 participated in Burdwan division in West Bengal Strike percentage is 18.09%.  (No. CPT/RTI Ro-Co/01-13/06/P Singh Dated at Bdn 18-02-2013, Copy enclosed.

7)      out of 397 Employees 288 employees participated in Strike in Mushirabad Division, West Bengal. strike percentage is 72.5% due to participation of AIPEDEU members. (No. CPT/RTI Act/Dlg/07/2013 dated at Berhampure the 11-02-2013, Copy enclosed.)

8)      The Chief PMG Kerala cleverly avoid to supply the information. We sought the information about total strength and the total employees participated in the strike. He supplied only total strength. We don’t know who stops him to supply the information about the participants of the strike? However, PMG Northern region supplied the information. In R.O.           Dear Comrades think who cheat the Postal employees with falsehood. The facts prove that the postal employees lost faith in present NFPE down fallen Leadership. The only one motto of Krishanan & Co and Sridharan gang is destruction. Let us think for construction and unity. You question yourself with true spirit. Are these leaders deserved to hold the Chair?

The General body meeting of AIPEDEU Secunderabad Division, Andhra Pradesh was held on

16-02-2013 at Secunderabad HO under the presidentship of Com. P.V. Lakshmi Narayana divisional president at 7-00 P.M. to 11-00 P.M. Two Hundred comrades from nook and corner of the division attended the meeting. Though there was heavy rain, all the members are stayed in the meeting with dedication and determination up to 11-00 P.M. Com. S.S. Mahadevaiah, General Secretary, Com. B.V. Rao, Asst. General Secretary and Circle Secretary attended and addressed the meeting. Com. B.N. Singh, Ex- Circle Secretary P-3, Com. M. Namender Goud, Circle Secretary, AIPRCCP & MMCWU, Com. K. Anjireddy, Circle Treasurer, AIPEDEU, Com. V. Yadaiah, Circle Org. Secretary, Com. Md. Sirajuddin, P-3 Leader, Com. Pasha Ex- Circle Secretary P-4, and other leaders addressed the meeting, Com. Masood Hussain, Divisional

Secretary, Secunderbad Division, Com. P.V. Lakshmi Narayana, Divisional president and their team made

KAMAREDDY BRANCH CONFERENCE

Kamareddy Branch, Nizamabad division Andhra Pradesh was held on 17-02-2013 at Kamareddy Head Post Office under the presidentship of Com. A. Sailoo Branch President. Two hundread members attended the conference. All the members remained in the conference from 11-00 A.M. to 6-00 P.M. Making the conference success. Com. S.S. Mahadevaiah General Secreatry hoisted the AIPEDEU flag. Com. S.S. Mahadevaiah, General Secretary, Com. B.V. Rao, Asst. General Secretary and circle secretary attended as chief guests. Com. M. Namendergoud, Circle Secretary, AIPR CCP & MMCWC, Gangaram Goud P-3 President, Com. Krishna Mohan P-3 Secretary, Md. Iqbal Moinuddin Division Secretary, Nizamabad division,
