Vide our letters even
No. dated 23.03.2020, 24.03.2020 and31-03-2020we have suggested temporary
withdrawal of postal services but in vain.
We have suggested
restoration of service in a phased manner for the reasons best known to the
administration. In spite of the fact,
Kerala Circle administration has submitted a proposal to the Government of
Kerala for payment of cash to the public at their doorstep, from their Adhar
linked bank accounts, through the postman of the concerned area, utilizing the
Adhar enabled Payment System (AePS) IPPB. It is reported that the deal,
including inauguration has been finalized. We, therefore, request to reiterate
the instructions on safety measures and also to consider the following in the
best interest of our valued customers:
Amend limit on SB Deposits
and Withdrawals: The present limit for acceptance of deposit at BOs is
Rs.25000/- to be at least Rs.1,00,000/- and withdrawal limit of Rs.5000/- at BO
to be Rs.10,000/- to meet the
requirement/demand of the customers.
