Dear Comrades,
CHQ congratulates all
Circle/Divisional/Branch Secretaries for making two days relay hunger fast from
4-6-2013 to 5-6-2013 at Divisional head quarters. We have received positive
reports from nook and corner of the country.
Inclusion of Grmain Dak Devaks in 7th Pay
Commission
CHQ is
continuously putting efforts and pressurise the Department of Posts and
Government of India for inclusion of Gramin Dak Sevaks in 7th Pay
Commission. CHQ appeals all Trade Unions and Federations and JCM to support
this demands. The Department of Posts assured us to make all efforts to fulfill
the justified demand of Grmain Dak Sevaks. To achieve this demand uncompromised
struggles are being launched. CHQ has already taken up the three phase
programmee. Spread and propagate the CHQ programmes among the GDS fraternity so
that they are enable to participate in large number in four days relay hunger
fast from 05-8-2013 to 08-08-2013 at Circle/Regional offices.
In the
month of September or October 2013 National Convention/Parliament rally will be
held in New Delhi.

Dear comrades, You are all aware the
natural calamity of Uttarkhand recently. It causes heavy loss to the people of
uttarakhand as well as Gramin Dak Sevaks in the state.
As per our assessment nearly the houses of 25 Gramin
Dak Sevaks have been collapsed in floods in Chameli Tehri Garwal, Uttarkasi,
Pithorgarh Divisions. One GDS employees in Nainital died in this calamity. CHQ
donated Rs 10,000/-under welfare measure. You are also requested to send

NEWS
Rastriya Swastya Bhima Yojana (Medical
Scheme) for GDS is going to implement soon after completion of collecting data
from GDS employees. The Department of Posts resubmitted the Bonus Ceiling Rs.
3500/- enhancement file to the finance ministry answering all the querries
raised by the Finance Ministry.
NEW PROPOSALS
The
department is going to provide one bicycle to the B.O. to delivery staff. The
information from divisional heads is collecting about the B.Os. Modernization
of B.Os is going to start in the last quarter of the year.
Ministry of Communication proposed to give
advance Rs. 50,000/- to each GDS employee under the welfare measure. This issue
is under active consideration.
Quota
CHQ
requests all Circle/Divisional and Branch Secretaries to clear quota (or) due
quota immediately. Also request to subscribe more and more new members and ask
old subscribe to renewal “RURAL POSTAL EMPLOYEES”.
