Today, 19th December 2024, the General Secretary of the All India Gramin Dak Sevak Union (AIGDSU), Shri S. S. Mahadevaiah, submitted a letter to the Honorable Communication Minister highlighting crucial issues faced by Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS). The submission focused on key demands including the implementation of a Unified Pension Scheme to ensure social welfare for GDS employees, the provision of adequate medical facilities, and ensuring cold weather amenities and other basic workplace necessities.
