On the 4th of October 2023, the All India Gramin Dak Sevak Union (AIGDSU) along with the National Union of Gramin Dak Sevaks (NUGDS), joint together as GDSPJCA, organized a one-day strike, recognizing the significant impact their strike had on the fulfillment of their long-standing legitimate demands.
The Gramin Dak Sevaks, with their one-day strike, have proven the power of unity and collective action. The strike sent a clear message to the authorities and stakeholders that the GDS community's grievances cannot be ignored any longer.
