 On the 19th of October, 2023, AIGDSU & Non Federated Associations Periodical Meeting convened at Dak Bhavan with the esteemed presence of the Director General of Posts and the Secretary of Posts & other officers. The meeting was held from 10 am to 1:30pm. On behalf of AIGDSU, S S Mahadevaiah General Secretary alongwith Shri. Ram Singh Dhakad Circle Secretary MP & Vice President CHQ & Shri. Vijay Sharma Circle Secretary Haryana Circle attended the meeting.

On the 19th of October, 2023, AIGDSU & Non Federated Associations Periodical Meeting convened at Dak Bhavan with the esteemed presence of the Director General of Posts and the Secretary of Posts & other officers. The meeting was held from 10 am to 1:30pm. On behalf of AIGDSU, S S Mahadevaiah General Secretary alongwith Shri. Ram Singh Dhakad Circle Secretary MP & Vice President CHQ & Shri. Vijay Sharma Circle Secretary Haryana Circle attended the meeting. AIGDSU delved into a spectrum of issues that have been pressing concerns for the Gramin Dak Sevaks. The topics under discussion encompassed Service Discharge Benefit Scheme (SDBS), Gratuity, Promotion opportunities, Service Conditions, the implementation of 8-hour, considerations regarding Combined Duty, work Targets, and the 

 Karmayogi Training. Furthermore, the meeting featured three essential Agenda Items, each shedding light on different facets of the Gramin Dak Sevaks' welfare and conditions. A copy of the minutes documenting the outcomes of this significant meeting is expected to be made available shortly by DoP, providing insights into the steps to address the pressing concerns. DoP has given positive assurances on pending issues. Union urged early settlement.

19 अक्टूबर, 2023 को डाक भवन में डाक महानिदेशक, डाक सचिव और अन्य अधिकारियों की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में एआईजीडीएसयू और गैर संघीय संघों की आवधिक बैठक बुलाई गई। बैठक सुबह 10 बजे से दोपहर 1:30 बजे तक चली. एआईजीडीएसयू की ओर से, श्री एस एस महादेवैया महासचिव के साथ। राम सिंह धाकड़ सर्कल सचिव एमपी एवं उपाध्यक्ष सीएचक्यू एवं श्री. बैठक में विजय शर्मा सर्कल सचिव हरियाणा सर्कल ने भाग लिया। एआईजीडीएसयू ने उन मुद्दों पर गहराई से चर्चा की जो ग्रामीण डाक सेवकों के लिए चिंता का विषय रहे हैं। चर्चा के तहत विषयों में सेवा निर्वहन लाभ योजना (एसडीबीएस), ग्रेच्युटी, पदोन्नति के अवसर, सेवा शर्तें, 8 घंटे का कार्यान्वयन, संयुक्त कर्तव्य के संबंध में विचार, कार्य लक्ष्य और शामिल हैं।

  कर्मयोगी प्रशिक्षण. इसके अलावा, बैठक में तीन आवश्यक एजेंडा आइटम शामिल थे, जिनमें से प्रत्येक ग्रामीण डाक सेवकों के कल्याण और स्थितियों के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर प्रकाश डालते थे। इस महत्वपूर्ण बैठक के नतीजों के दस्तावेजीकरण के मिनटों की एक प्रति डीओपी द्वारा शीघ्र ही उपलब्ध कराए जाने की उम्मीद है, जो गंभीर चिंताओं को दूर करने के कदमों की जानकारी प्रदान करेगी। डीओपी ने लंबित मुद्दों पर सकारात्मक आश्वासन दिया है। यूनियन ने शीघ्र समाधान का आग्रह किया।

Title: Impeccable Organization and Resolute Spirit: Gramin Dak Sevaks Achieve a Resounding Success with the One Day All India Strike

On the 4th of October 2023, the All India Gramin Dak Sevak Union (AIGDSU) along with the National Union of Gramin Dak Sevaks (NUGDS), joint together as GDSPJCA, organized a one-day strike, recognizing the significant impact their strike had on the fulfillment of their long-standing legitimate demands.

The Gramin Dak Sevaks, with their one-day strike, have proven the power of unity and collective action. The strike sent a clear message to the authorities and stakeholders that the GDS community's grievances cannot be ignored any longer. The effectiveness of the strike was due to the meticulous planning, flawless execution, and strong participation of the GDS from various regions across the country.

At the heart of the strike are the long unfulfilled legitimate demands of the Gramin Dak Sevaks. These demands encompass several crucial aspects of their working conditions and welfare, including the implementation of a standard 8-hour work, access to comprehensive medical facilities, the introduction of a pension scheme, and other essential benefits. The GDS community has long advocated for these rights, recognizing the significance of fair treatment and improved working conditions in fostering motivation, efficiency, and overall well-being. To further push for our demands and bring about lasting change, the Rank & File are urged to prepare for an INDEFINITE STRIKE. This forthcoming action underscores the unwavering commitment of the Gramin Dak Sevaks towards obtaining justice and fair treatment.
