political Leader Kalaignar Karunanidhi Expired
Former chief Minister of Tamilnadu and
the Chief of DMK Dr.kalaignar Karunanidhi aged 95 has passed away today
07.08.2018 in Kauvery Hospital, Chennai.
He served as the Chief Minister of
Tamil Nadu for five times and member of Legislative assembly for the past
continuous 30 years. He has also been as a writer, reporter, screen writer in
Tamil film industries and a great contributor to tamil literature. He made
Tamil to become the first legally recognised classical language(Semmozhi) of
India. He introduced many valuable schemes to develop the welfare of the state
and also to develop the employment level of the state. He achieved in towering
the unemployment level in the state, during his period. He established valluvar
kottam in Chennai and the historical Thiruvalluvar statue (133 feet) in
Kanyakumari. He was the chief of DMK for the past 50 years with great
administration skills. He established many government engineering colleges in
Tamil Nadu. He has been the reason behind forming many graduated youngsters in
the state. He established Tamil Nadu housing society unit and provided
apartments to many poor needful people at free cost. He wrote the famous proverb
“Ezhayin Sirippil Iraivanai Kanbom”. He revoked the employment of 1.5 lakh
Tamil Nadu Government employees who were suspended during the strike, by the
previous government.
