Sub:- The memorandum for
inclusion of issues relating to GDS submitted to the Hon’ble Finance Minister, Govt. of
India-forwarded by the Finance Ministry to Member (Finance), Postal Services
Board.
Sir,
We had submitted a short Memorandum to the Hon’ble Finance
Minister, Government of India requesting him to kindly to take action for
inclusion of the GDS issues in the terms of reference of the 7th
Central Pay Commission. The memorandum has been forwarded to the Member
(Finance) Postal Services Board for submitting complete proposal vide under
Secretary in the Finance Ministry vide OM No. 58(2) E.III(B)/2114 dated 20th
September, 2014. We believe that the issue pertains to your jurisdiction and
the required proposal is also within your jurisdiction. We are enclosing a copy
of the said letter for your ready reference. We are also forwarding a copy of
our memorandum submitted to the Hon’ble Finance Minister for ready reference.
We, request you kindly to submit a complete proposal
to the Finance Ministry so that the issues of GDS are included in the terms of
reference of the 7th CPC. We may add that this is accordance with
the terms of the agreement that was signed between the department and this
union on 21st February, 2014. We are submitting herewith a copy of
the agreement also for ready reference.
