2.7 LAKH GRAMIN DAK SEVAKS INDEFINITE STRIKE FROM 18TH FEBRUARY 2014
95% Gramin Dak Sevaks on STRIKE
Indefinite strike call given by All India Gramin Dak Sevaks union from 18/2/2014 for the cause of justified demands of Gramin Dak Sevaks in the department of posts more than 95% Gramin Dak Sevaks are on strike. All the postal services in rural India are closed due to indefinite strike in 22 postal circles.
S.S.Mahadevaiah, General Secretary All India Gramin Dak Sevaks Union demanded the department to settle the Charter of demands mentioned in the strike notice served on 29/1/2014, otherwise strike will be intensified.
“2.7 Lakh Gramin Dak Sevaks working in 1,29,036 post offices in rural India are going on indefinite strike from 18th February 2014” S.S. Mahadevaiah General Secretary All India Gramin Dak Sevaks union said.
