Periodical meeting with DG Post

 Periodical meeting was held with representatives of AIGDSU & other associations at 11:AM on 2nd Dec 2021 under the chairmanship of DGPS in GP.Roy Committee Room Dak Bhawan, New Delhi. Official side was led by Chairman Shri. Alok Sharma ji, Shri M. Alexander Member (P), Shri Arvind Verma DDG (SR) and (P). Smt. Smriti Sharan, DDG (Est) DDG (FS), Director (P) Shri. Rajeev Shri, S.R Amini, Director (SR and legal).

Union side was led by Shri S.S Mahadevaiah General Secretary AIGDSU and Shri Narayan Chaudhry CHQ Treasurer in the meeting.

Decisions:-

1.          Grant of Three Time Bound financial upgradation. Dept gave status report after discussion D.G. Chairman gave assurance & direction to fulfil queries in this month itself to IFA for consideration.

2.          Provision of medical facilities to GDS after discussion, dept agreed to re-examine with ESI facility.

3.          Grant of combined duty allowance to BPMs and single- handed BOs has been forwarded to MoF for approval.

Other items;-

Ø IPPB, CBS and other new work including time factor not for incentive, we demanded abolition of incentive system. Chairman agreed to examine time factor for new BO works

Ø Proposed SOP regarding handling of repairs of Smartphone and Biometric devices provided to and users by IPPB order copy has been received.

Secretary Post, Shri. Vineet Pandey Ji, came and expressed his views regarding GDS valuable services to people he also made positive remarks and appreciated the GDS in changing scenario of rural masses in socio-economic context.
